Avorion Introduction

Hey, man, you know what, few hundred years ago the galaxy was close to be destroyed. A tremendous catastrophe produced this colossal annulus of shredded hyperspace material in the middle through which nobody can pass. As was stated before, ever since then nobody has been able to get to the heart of the galaxy, and it only worsened. And boom big hyperspace rifts started appearing and lo and behold there in the middle a rather strange alien species known as the Xsotan. They manage to get through the rent they made but everyone has remained speechless from seeing them.

Now there is this thing called Avorion which appeared at around the same time the Xsotan came to town. The aliens seem to use it to build their ships, and it is getting quite a stir in the galaxy. Even what it is no one knows, though everybody is groping for an answer.

It is set up as you begin as some lowly individual within the perimeter of the galaxy and steadily maneuver towards the darker central area of the galaxy. It combines elements from space sandbox games like X and Freelancer with some epic co-op and you can build your own ships. Prepare for getting a highly armed vessel with chainguns, lasers, and other devices, with which defeat enemies. You can defend your friends, look for pirates, or participate in faction war, if you want to. Not only that, but, when you win, gather spoils with which to improve your ship with better turrets, powers, or systems. It is possible to construct hangars, control fighter wings or even jack cargo from enemy transports. The galaxy’s yours to conquer dude!
